Matcha Smoothie Bowl with Granola and Fresh Seasonal Fruit

What is a smoothie bowl?

A smoothie bowl is a thick smoothie served in a bowl with toppings. It has ice-cream like consistency. Smoothie bowls are more substantial than a regular smoothie and make a great breakfast or snack. You can use a smoothie bowl to eat as many fruits as you want as toppings. It acts as a tasty base and enhances food flavor.

Here's how you can make this smoothie bowl.

Tools you need

Ingredients

  • 2 spoons of Premium Culinary Matcha
  • 2 Frozen bananas (Sliced)
  • 2 Frozen kiwis (Sliced)
  • 30 grams baby spinach
  • 100-150 ml oat milk

Toppings

  • Granola
  • Seasonal fresh fruit

Instructions

  1. Blend the Matcha powder with 100 ml oat milk until it is completely dissolved and the liquid is nice and green
  2. Add frozen bananas, kiwis, and spinach to the blender and blend until smooth
  3. If the smoothie is too thick you can add more milk, this step is optional
  4. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and top with granola and fresh fruit
  5. Enjoy your delicious Matcha Smoothie Bowl!

You are going to need a high-speed blender like Vitamix or Nutribullet. Kitchen Aid will also work. This bowl is supposed to be thick. However, if your blender refuses to blend or isn't blending the mixture as smooth, you can either add more Oat Milk or cold water.

It is very important to make the smoothie with frozen fruit to achieve a nice texture.
