Use this matcha for traditional matcha tea, Usucha and Koicha. Additionally, this ceremonial matcha is ideal blended into a matcha latte. Our quality matcha boasts a bright green colour that comes from the first harvest (known as “Ichibancha'', the first flush tea harvested from late April until early May). Ichibancha matcha has the very best reputation and is rated as top quality tea. Once opened, we recommend that you consume your pack of matcha relatively quickly to avoid deterioration. Store it in a cool, dry place and avoid contact with strong smelling goods, sunlight and moisture. An unopened pack can be stored for up to 6 months in the refrigerator. You can also store unopened packs of matcha for over 18 months in the freezer.
